Rachel Steadman
— Trainer

Rachel is a certified CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit Kids Instructor. Her sports background lies in Swimming and Waterpolo and she is also a qualified Level 2 Swimming Instructor with 5 years’ experience of teaching both children and adults, and also coaching club teams. She especially enjoys teaching children and therefore is a key CrossFit 3D staff member when it comes to CrossFit 3D Kids.

Rachel found CrossFit in 2005 through Karl, and has been CrossFitting ever since. She says “CrossFit introduced me to a whole new way of training. I thought I was fit through swimming but now know different!  I have learned where my weaknesses are and how to work on them to become a better athlete, and I hope to pass on what I have learnt through CrossFit to others to help them become fitter and achieve their own personal goals. I also look forward to the opportunity to introduce CrossFit to kids and show them that exercise is fun too.”

Rachel also recently set the fastest ever womens’ time on the official 2009 Krypton Factor Assault course and came 4th in the 2009 England Indoor Rowing (womens’ open lightweight category).

Pete Brzezinka
— Trainer

Pete is a certified CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting trainer. He also holds Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 3 Sports Nutrition qualifications. He got into CrossFit whilst searching online for challenging bodyweight workouts and started training at his local affiliate a year later. He has continued his personal training career alongside his CrossFit trainer roles ever since, including giving advice about proper nutrition & diet.

Pete strongly believes in getting personal experience of CrossFit in order to improve himself as a trainer. He says “if you’re going to train someone a certain way its got to be something you have experience of yourself, whatever workout that may be, and, as obvious as it may sound it also has to be something you believe to be successful. I will always safely get the most out of people in a session. CrossFit’s community is fantastic, and is ever expanding. There is always a real sense of camaraderie in the gym. It’s nice being surrounded by like-minded people who are prepared to put such effort and dedication into their training and nutrition.
